Spicy Squash Side Dish

Tis the season for squash and this simple side dish with apples and cranberries will spice up any meal!

Serves 4

Ingredients

●     20 oz chopped butternut squash, fresh or frozen

●     2 Granny Smith apples, chopped

●     ⅓ cup dried cranberries

●     1 Tbsp honey

●     2 tsp chili flakes

●     3 Tbsp lemon juice

 

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a medium saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the squash and apples are soft and heated through.
